This drawing started out as an impressionistic study without much attention to detail. It end up much tighter and with more detail than originally intended. This was largely due to having more time to do the drawing than I initially thought that I would have. Rather than quitting early when the drawing was at its' best, I filled up the time adding detail without paying too much attention to what I was doing. The result is far from brilliant. The head, in particular, is not terribly well observed.
