Heat
charcoal and pastel
22.9 x 30.5 cm (9" x 12")
Heat refers to the parabolic heater beside the model. It's beginning to cool off at night here in Winnipeg. It's time, once again, to begin providing some heat for our models.
Scanning this drawing proved frustrating. I was not able to get a faithful colour representation with the scan, nor was I able to adjust the colour to match the original drawing. While what you see is acceptable, the actual drawing has a more interesting colour constrast than the scan. Digital images of a drawing can sometimes be stronger than the original drawing, and sometimes, not.
