This road is in Door County, Wisconsin, north of Sturgeon Bay, where I recently spent some time cycling. It is great country for cycling. Quiet paved roads, either through gently rolling countryside, or along Green Bay or Lake Michigan.

This painting was done on a light weight paper, which warps with the water from the painting. You can see some evidence of the warping in the scan.
