Cityscape 3
ink, charcoal, and pastel
22.9 x 30.5 cm (9" x 12")
The buildings in this drawing are very familiar to Winnipeggers. The steep roofed building is the Fort Garry Hotel. The building with the two stage turret is a new addition to the hotel. The Fort Garry is one of the many grand Canadian railway hotels from the turn of the last century. When it was built in 1913 it was the tallest building in city.
